Traditionally we all like to dress-up on the last saturday before we break up for Christmas. This year the theme was the popular children's book "Where's Wally". A great day of fun was had by all in the salon. These days really bring everyone together as the fun team we are here at The Cutting Garden and we hope our clients enjoy the special atmosphere that it creates. Merry Christmas to everyone and a Happy New Year!
NEW- A sweet treat for styling, TIGI Candy Fixations! November 2011
If there was ever a reason to toast to something with a strawberry milkshake, this would be it!
Tigi’s Bed Head range is back with a new collection of products named Candy Fixations.
In the early 90s the Bed Head Wax Stick broke the hair product mold helping to add extreme texture and separation.
This new range is inspired by youth sub cultures such as the post-punk Camden kids who spiked up their mohicans with raw egg and sugar (and this is where the candy part comes in!). Bed Head has interpreted these techniques in a modern way. The noughties ironed flat look is out, statement hair is back! Thanks to Bed Head you can achieve extreme style yet no longer have to overdose you hair with products.
As demonstrated by Maria Kovaks a pumped up 50s style do can be achieved without the excessive back brushing and hair spraying, leaving the hair as soft as candy floss. Starting with Totally Baked, blow dry some volume into the hair, followed by rollers and a little spray then comb out and add a little Sugar Dust for extra hold and texture.
