About The Cutting Garden
The Cutting Garden on Mayflower Street in Plymouth town centre has been one of the leading hair salons in Plymouth for the last 21 years. The Cutting Garden has recently had a well deserved total makeover. The salon changed hands in 2006 and the new owners Graham and Katherine Bates took the decision to re-fit the salon to keep pace with the demand for high quality hairstyles at reasonable high street prices.

The salon has a modern and contemporary feel with neutral colours and natural materials used throughout.
The upper floor has full-height floor to ceiling windows which give exceptional natural light and the salon now houses 18 stunning back-lit walnut stying stations over two floors.
The reception area boasts a comfortable seating area where clients may enjoy the coffee for which the salon has always been commended. |
Cutting Edge Skills
Graham and Katherine have implemented a continuous education programme that includes yearly trips to London and Holland for further skills training in cutting and colouring to ensure that the fashion styles produced by The Cutting Garden are always in vogue.
The Cutting Garden is a full stockist of all Tigi Hair products including the new 'S-factor' range and also stocks the full ranges of Nexxus and Redken shampoos, conditioners and styling products.
Easy and Convenient
The Cutting Garden and CG2 are the closest salons to the Drake Circus Development to offer this scale of choice within its ranges of hair-care products and treatments. The Cutting Garden is air-conditioned and there is plenty of parking as there is a public car park opposite. Clients love the proximity of the parking and the bus stop as they never have far to walk in bad weather and the doors of Drake Circus are only 190 metres away.
The full-time receptionists will be happy to assist you with all your hair-care needs. If you cannot find what you are looking for at one salon, they will do their best to accommodate you at the other. Gift vouchers are available to purchase at both salons and are valid to use in either.
